Cosms

Six separate cosms have invaded our Earth, what is also known as Core Earth.  Each one has different rules under which it operates.  Most people cannot leave their own cosm, to do so is a one way trip.  As the High Lords gain power and land, their realm spreads, transforming our reality into their own.  Six have established large and well supported beachheads on our planet.  There were reports of a seventh that attempted to establish themselves in Russia, but if that is so, they failed.  Almost everyone agrees that it is possible for more realities to invade; it is highly speculative whether that will happen or not.  It is also commonly assumed that at least five of the invading realities have High Lords and they have an alliance with each other.

Orrosh was the first to invade.  Centering on Indonesia, and spreading through much of the South Pacific, this realm of gothic horror unleashes terrors meant to stay in the imagination.  Gas lamps do nothing to keep the monsters at bay at night.

The Living Land  first invaded with New York City as ground zero.  A realm of prehistoric proportions has spread through much of North America.  A thick mist blankets primeval jungles and lizard men spread a savage and ecstatic religion.

Aylse:  Magic came to England, and along with it, elves, dwarves, dragons, and feudalism.  A realm of fantasy with forces of Darkness has taken hold of the British Isles, but technology has crashed and so has government.

Cyberpapacy:  France has been cut off from the rest of the world.  Violent reality storms make travel in or out difficult, even for Storm Knights.  Religious fervor has taken hold of the people, and technology surged forward.

Nile Empire:  In Egypt, a Pharaoh has proclaimed the Tenth Dynasty.  1940's era technology mix with pulp action as valiant heroes and diabolical villains clash with weird science and super powers.

Nippon Tech:  During the time of the invasion, Japan reported to have thwarted an invasion, but the economic surge and prosperity makes that claim questionable.  No one can prove it one way or the other.  If it is realm, there is no apparent High Lord or overt organization.  Since Japan helps out when it can, no one is really complaining.

Core Earth:  A reality defined, for most people, by the lack of an invading realm.  The largest, easily, but losing since no one was prepared for the invasion, and even fewer people know quite how to engage in a war against the other realities.

More realms may invade, depending on the direction the story goes.  So far, none seem to have the best of intentions towards Earth; are there any allies in the Infiniverse?
