America has had its
economy cut in half. Prehistoric mists have stifled the north east
and much of the west coast. The capitol has been moved to Houston,
and the speaker of the house was sworn in a few days after the President
and Vice President were reported lost in the Living Lands which now hold
sway over New York. The Delphi Council was created, a special division
to deal specifically with information gathering and strategic advisement
of the Possibility War. Mexico's biggest problem lies to the north.
After the invasion, Mexican nationals living in America suddenly thought
that their life in Mexico hadn't been so bad. Furthermore, Americans
in the southwestern states suddenly began thinking that they never gave
Mexico much of a shot. Refugee camps filled with Americans are forming
around many Mexican cities. Mexico still suffers under the social
and economic woes of yore, although oil trade has improved. Canada
went into chaos with the loss of government in Ottawa, but it is making
progress towards stabilization. The Canadian industries are transferring
smoothly to wartime production. The greatest worry is the largely
undefended Living Land realm in the Northwest Terrtories; with little defense
in the area, it appears the realm could easily spread to more population
centers.
