Dexterity (DEX): Measures your quickness, reflexes, and agility. Important for many combat skills (and defenses) as well as most athletic abilities. Good for martial artists, gymnasts, and escape artists.
Strength (STR): Determines physical prowess and capacity. Mainly for lifting and climbing, and also determines melee and hand-to-hand damage. Popular among weight lifters, warriors, and barbarians.
Toughness (TOU): Shows your ability to resist damage and withstand hardships. Not used for much else, other than giving a hint about a character's size.
Perception (PER): Determines your ability to notice things and how quick you are mentally. Useful for investigative skills, as well as first aid, divination and alteration magic, scholarly, and piloting skills. High perceptions are common among pilots and professors.
Mind (MIN): Measures your force of will and ability to concentrate. Useful for willpower, science, medicine, apportation and conjuration magic, and creative arts. Doctors and scientists (along with Perception) often value mind, but its good in any profession.
Charisma (CHA): Represents your personality and attractiveness. Used to charm and persuade others. A valuable trait among salesmen and people who network.
Spirit
(SPI):
Determines your inner resolve and spiritual energy. Used for faith
and focus as well the all important reality skill.
