Indonesia. Serial murders
continue on the island province of Borneo. Read the full

December 29th, 1999
Borneo, Indonesia. The first
invasion takes place, creating a zone of silence. No communications
are coming out of the archipelago nation.
December 30st, 1999
Un ambassadors gather in New York
to discuss the situation in indonesia. President Clinton arrives
to attend. The mayor calls for an increase in police power in preparation
for the Millenium celebrations. Read the full

December 31st, 1999
Indonesia. The zone of silence
increases to cover almost all of Indonesia, and some nearby countries.
Relief teams from Thailand and the Philippines head for Singapore; they
are never seen again.
January 1st, 2000
New York City. The second
invasion takes place. All communication to and from a large portion
of north eastern United States ceases. The president and vice president
are lost with in the zone. Panic and looting happen in several major
cities.
Washington DC. Congress is called early to discuss this incident.
Malaysia. A wounded BBC reporter is found outside the zone of silence in the south pacific muttering about monsters and british soldiers.
January 2nd, 2000
New York. The US National Guard
is sent to determine what has occurred. They made contact with the
invaders and sent out a communication which is cut short and the units
are lost.
January 3rd, 2000
Refugees pour out of the area into
Trenton and Philadelphia, reporting stories of savagery and primordial
invaders.
Speaker of the House assumes the duties of the U.S. executive office, but refuses the title of President.
The invaded area of the United States is mapped to a 600 mile diamond shaped area on the eastern seaboard. Reconnaissance by anything but satellite and high flying planes has failed. Troops deployed into the zone have been lost. The National Guard and state-side army divisions have been moved toward Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Washington DC in case the "dead zone" spreads.
The United States and Canada begin discussions on how to contain the invaders.
January 5th, 2000
Another "Dead zone" forms around
Fort Providence, in the Northwest Territories, Canada.
January 6th, 2000
Speaker of the House, Danny Hastert,
sworn in, and takes the title, of President of the United States of America.
The capitol is moved to Houston, Texas.
January 7th, 2000
Delphi Council forms, and begins
a program of Storm Knight Registration.
January 8th, 1999
LOS ANGELES, CA -- The footage taken
by a Storm Traveller of a bridge of vines decesding from a hole in the
sky has shocked the world. With it, storms have sprung around a large
area along the Pacific Coast, from Las Vegas to San Francisco, and as far
north as Vancouver, British Columbia.
Storms are the signs
of what people are beginning to call "Reality Warps" areas that operate
differently. This Warp on the west coast seems similiar to the northeast;
dinosaurs and lizard men, and the failure of technology, in most cases.
It's not understood how Mr. Robert Gunders was able to drive an old minivan
from the land while trained soldier's piloting new military transports
instantly broke down, but not much is understood of these new events in
the world.
It's not clear what triggers
these warps, and what can prevent them. Los Angeles is bracing for
an incursion. Yesterday the storms spread suddenly from New Jersey
across Pennsylvania, preceeded by lizard men on dinosaur mounts stampeding
towns along the border. To prevent this in Southern California, the
National Guard has set up a blockade along Interstate-5, in a mountain
pass area known as the Grapevine.
Suprisingly, although
there are many areas of unrest and growth of doomsayer groups, many Americans
have pulled together; forming community alliances, joining local National
Guardsmen or the Armed Forces, and setting up shelters for refugees from
invaded areas. Until the situation is better understood, there is
not much else to do.
January 20th, 2000
MOSCOW, Russia -- A team of Russian
specialists, with assitance from Germany and Japan, detected and unearthed
objects known as stelae. The team reports that these special devices
are used to quarantine an area for the invaders alien "realities."
The team reported finding
two of the objects, although the Japanese team asserted that there was
another, forming a triangular shape, there was not time to find it before
the sky opened up above Moscow.
Thousands were
on the street, staring at the dark hole that ripped open in the sky, as
a bridge decended. It appeared to be made of both metal and flesh.
Before it touched the ground, as it appeared ready to do, there was a brilliant
flash of light and several witnessed reported feeling a surge of electricity
pass through them.
Although none of the
bystanders were harmed, after the brilliant display, the bridge was gone
and the hole in the sky sealed itself. The huge wealth gap that exists
in Moscow seemed nonexistant as the rich celebrated the victory with the
poor.
The team postulated that
severe damage was done to the invading realm. Their success brings much
needed hope. If these invaders could be prevented, then others can
be fought as well. This was especially neccesary after the recent
invasion of France. The storms surrounding the nation were much stronger
than anything seen before. Still, reports of a technological collapse,
as well as religious fanatacism and a sort of Inquisition in the country,
continue.
February 1st, 2000
Wendy Miller was pronounced dead by doctors in an Atlanta hospital after a car accident. Just moments afterwards, she regained consciousness and claimed to be Tolwyn of Tancred, a warrior from Aysle reborn into the body of Webdy Miller after her death. Tolwyn appeared to have no knowledge of Wendy, and a wealth of knowledge on Aylse, it's leader Pella Ardinay, and the nature of these reality wars. Upon her release, she christened herself, and the thousands like herwith the gift to walk between worlds, Storm Knights.

Following the victory in Russia,
Japan reported thwarting an attempted invasion before it was ever a threat,
unlike the Russians close call. Although storms have increased in
the region, it is apparent that they are from the realm known as Orrorsh
pushing northwards into Southeast Asia, and after effects from the failed
Russian invasion.
As for the most recent
invasion, who could forget the radio broadcast, that has since been repeated
in core earth.
"People
of the world: for millenia you have discounted Egypt as an ancient, crumbling,
empire, fit only for history books and archeological digs. You have
corrupted the ancient writings, defiled treasures hidden within her womb,
and even taken our kings to your labs to destroy them. Let it be
known that your endless rape of our land ends now! I am Pharaoh Mobius,
god-king of the Tenth Empire of Egypt. Egypt's past collapse shall
become your future. Our gods shall make yours beg for mercy.
The tears of our kings shall become our swords and our fire, and there
will be nothing left of you but ashes, which we will scatter to the wind!
Pharaoh has spoken!"
Since the infamous
speech, the Nile Empire (as it has been called) has expanded to cover a
large area of northeast Africa. Armies of tanks and soldiers have
been seen, the likes of which have been unknown since World War II.
Resistance forces are
gathering across the world. Groups of Storm Knights, people gifted
with the ability to travel into these alien lands, have been rising agaisnt
the invaders. As war grips the world, we still glance to the sky
wondering when next it might open up, and what it will bring.
February 15th, 2000
The reality of the False Papacy in France has suddenly altered. Technology surged into existence across the realm creating a world of a far advanced information age. Reports of the new Cyberpope giving mass agree that he has embraced, if not been the catalyst for, this sudden transformation.
April 8th, 2000
Tolwyn of Tancred and her group of
Storm Knights report that they have defeated the Gaunt Man, the High Lord
of Orrorsh, and reported leader of the invasion. He has been imprisoned
in another dimension removed from the rest of the worlds.
April 10th, 2000
The earth's rotation begins to slow down. It is noted the world over that the sun sets almost an hour after it should have, and the next day it rises over an hour late. Experts report that if this process continues, the Earth will become inert within an month. A popular theory is the other realities are acting as spatial anchors and adding increased mass, decreasing the earths rotation inertia. Another theory includes the upcoming plantary alignment, that the tidal forces might be slowing the ratation down.
May 4th, 2000
The world grinds to a halt. The process that began to be noticed in April, finishes, as the Earth ceases to rotate. The sun stays up over North and South America, as permanent midnight decends over the Middle East. Except for a thin temperate band, it is reported that the Earth will become completely inhospitable in a few months if the lack of rotation continues.
